Valentine's day...

On Valentine's day, I dragged Meg out to the Quadbikes, which is some sort of a Harvard run bike shop/tool workshop. You can rent space there for $10 an hour, and they have almost every tool you could ever need.

The work area is really large, and although it was a bit messy, you had full freedom to work at your own pace and get things done right.

I installed the King brown Sotto Voce headset, installed the crown race, cut the steerer, and installed the star nut.

It all came out surprisingly well.

you're cheating yourself by not getting the 3T bars and post to match. other than that, the bike looks killer. when is the maiden voyage?

The New 3T stuff is definitely good looking. Maybe I should get some new bars for the new season...

So, while the rest of us were taking part in romantic togetherness-type activities: walking hand in hand, eating fancy chocolates ect, you had Meg in a fetid basement workshop hammering in crown races?
I am without comment.

Also, 3T stuff does look good, and inexpensive!

Yes, but believe it or not, she wanted to check out Quadbikes as well!

I could not believe it!

Of note. You really do have to hammer the shit out of the the race to get it on there.

We had delicious pizza on Mass Ave afterwards.

4 hour ride with friends, working on bikes, pizza, a short nap, it was a great day.

Rotor Rings are surprisingly awesome.

You ride a bike with it, then the next day you ride a bike without it, all of a sudden you feel like you are pedaling octagons. Cort rides them too.

What is this thing called Anaerobic?

That would be when it hurts to ride the bike.
