Sportlegs

Sportlegs.

Are they the miracle drug for the midpack cyclist? Or are they just a laxative? The main ingredient in these little magical pills is magnesium. Unfortunately for some, like myself, it acts as a complete laxative. I just wasted 27 dollars.(US dollars....) but did lose 5 pounds!

Yash-

We're very concerned about your problem. Dietary magnesium comprises about 4.5% of SportLegs' ingredients, so it's certainly not the major ingredient. But individual tolerance to magnesium varies widely. FDA research notes most folks can tolerate up to 1200 mg of supplemental magnesium a day. However, the very most sensitive people may experience diarrhea from as little as 350 mg of supplemental magnesium a day. It's likely you're already taking close to that amount from other supplements. A 3-capsule dose of SportLegs carries 77 mg of magnesium. On top of what you're already taking, it could be enough to trigger your unfortunate symptoms. Try reducing the other magnesium you're taking, and SportLegs should work for you. If not, e-mail us at info@sportlegs.com, and we'll refund your $27. If you aren't happy, we don't deserve your money.

Perhaps taking 4 pills and a multi vitamin is too much Magnesium. I will try it without the Muti Vitamin on the days I plan to take the sportlegs.
